Frequently asked
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
This will vary depending on the hours of coverage you choose and the type of wedding. We never put a limit on the number of images you can receive. For a full day wedding you can expect to receive 600+ images. This will increase if you are using multiple venues or opt for a second photographer.
WHEN Can WE SEE OUR IMAGES?
By far my favourite thing about being a wedding photographer is my couples’ reactions when they see their photos! The excited squeals, the ugly sobs, it’s what I live for! So I try to get to that moment as quickly as possible! I always send a selection of preview photos within 48 hours for you to share with family and friends and the social media world. Your full gallery will take up to 8 weeks for me to lovingly edit and finalise, depending on the size of the gallery and time of year.
What if there's bad weather?
You can't photograph weddings in the UK for 10 years without encountering all sorts of weather conditions. I have documented outdoor August ceremonies in pouring rain, November weddings in glorious sunshine and everything in-between. I am completely confident in working in all weather conditions and making the most of your venue and timings if the weather isn't what you anticipated.

Once we’ve talked through all your plans, Ill send you a link to your own private platform where you can complete your contract and pay the £500 deposit.

I have had the pleasure of working with lots of wonderful wedding vendors. Once you have completed your contact form, our information/pricing guide includes a list of my favourite suppliers to work with.
What are your travel fees?
As a Portsmouth wedding photographer, each package includes 150 miles of travel from PO2. But I have easy options if you’re further afield or planning a destination wedding. Once you’ve completed my , I’ll send you my pricing guide, which includes all the travel information. As long as I can get there, I’ll travel to the ends of the earth to be with you on your big day. If it’s more than a 3 hour journey, or a flight, I request accommodation for the nights before and after the wedding. Just so there’s no risk of me getting stuck on the way there, and I can make sure 100% I’ll be there from the very start.

When should we book?
As soon as you know your wedding date! Lots of couples actually contact me before their date is finalised to ensure I still have availability. I can often book up to 2 years in advance, so if you know we’re photography soul mates, then send over an ASAP. I am currently open for bookings for 2023 and 2024.

WHAT IS A SECOND photographer?
A second photographer gives you the option to add a second professional photographer to your wedding day. This is brilliant for those of you who would both like your preparations photographed, love candid photographs during drinks receptions or if you are having a wedding with over 100 guests.
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
As long as I can get there, there is no limit to distance when it comes to photographing your wedding. If more than a 3 hour journey, or a flight, I request accommodation for the night before/after the wedding takes place.
